COVID 19 BUSINESS RECOVERY INITIATIVE
The Prince George’s County COVID19 Business Recovery Initiative (Formerly Relief Fund) has been revamped to provide grant assistance to businesses so
that they may retain their pre-pandemic workforce and sustain operations through social distancing. Grants will be awarded up to $100,000 to support
cash operating expenses including payroll, suppliers, rent, fixed debt payments and other business critical cash operating costs.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Principal business office or location must be physically located in Prince George’s County.
- Business meets U.S. Small Business Administration definition of small business.
- New business ventures are not eligible.
- Beginning May 15, 2020, sole proprietor and 1099 applications will also be accepted.

HOW TO APPLY:
To apply for relief funds, complete an online application by selecting “Start Application Online.” Retain your application number for future reference and save your application
as you go. If you are unable to complete your application in one session, continue your application by using your application ID number.
Download and complete required documents prior to submitting your application. Attach all required documentation items within the application portal.
Once your application has been submitted, you will be unable to make any changes or attach any additional documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

USE OF GRANT:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Business must retain jobs (certified to County) with a goal of hiring County residents for future vacancies Borrower must maintain its operations in the
County for the term of the loan Commit to best effort to have 35% County based business participation in any future construction work Provide evidence
that application has been submitted to the U.S. SBA and State of Maryland

- Evidence that application has been submitted to the U.S. SBA or State of Maryland
- Personal Financial Statement for each owner with 20% or more ownership interest *
- Articles of Incorporation/Organization/Formation
- Domestic Wire Transfer Form *
